# Becoming an official integration

> Guidance from management: what to submit to get your platform listed in Base.com's integration list

This article builds on the [technical Shops API overview](/en/partnerstvi-shops-api/jak-se-napojit) and covers the administrative steps needed to get your platform listed directly in Base.com's integration list (rather than only available via the generic "Other shop" option).

## 1. Build the integration per the Shops API

Integration should be implemented according to the [Shops API documentation](https://developers.baselinker.com/shops_api/index.php), which also includes a tester. An [example integration file](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1W-6YdbiuF6gm7JmkQT0usJCEGL-DQqWT/view?usp=sharing) is available as a starting point.

## 2. Set up a test Base account

For access to the demo, create an account on the production version of Base ([registration](https://baselinker.com/en-GB/register/)). If the default trial period isn't enough to finish integration and testing, let us know and we'll extend it.

## 3. Until you're listed

Until the integration is approved and published, your clients can connect your platform via the generic **"Other shop"** option in the Base panel.

## 4. What we need to add you to the integration list

Once your integration is built and tested (step 1), send us:

1. **A logo** — a link to it is fine. It's shown next to your integration in the list when a user adds it.
2. **End-user setup instructions** — the text shown in the left-hand panel when a user sets up the integration. It needs to cover everything required for a successful setup: exactly where to go, what to click, what to enable, what to copy and where, where to find any required passwords/keys, who to contact if something doesn't work, and the scope of what the integration supports.
3. **A test instance of your store**, with access for us — so we can verify the integration ourselves (assuming you've already completed integration and testing on your side).
4. **The login email of your Base account** — the initial rollout will be limited to specific accounts and won't be globally visible yet (used for final testing before full publication).

<Tip>
  Prepare all four items together — it speeds up our approval process.
